Tyrone(played by Marlone Wayans) is Harry's(played by Jared Leto) best friend and business partner in the drug buying and selling game. He grew up with a loving mother, and not much is known of his father. His mother tells him, in a flashback when he tells his mother that he 'made it', that all he has to do it 'love his mama'.He and Harry's friendship is put on strain in the fall when the drug business gets hairy and the 'italians' and 'blacks' are put against eachother. He is involved in multiple shootings, on in a car and one in the pickup time in the back of a grocery store.His coined phrase for the drugs is 'dynamite'.When the drug supply is low, he is the one who finds a man called 'Little John' who will now only give drugs for sex. He gives the number of the guy to Harry.He and harry drive to Florida to pick up more drugs in the winter, where he sees Harry's infected wound from shooting up. He advises against him shooting up any more and tells him to go to the hospital but Harry refuses and Tyrone is disgusted when Harry shoots up in the same spot as the infection.He is a loyal friend and he takes care of harry by insisting he goes to a hospital when the infection gets worse. While there, many of the white men in the waiting room give him bad looks and eventually an officer appears and he is taken to jail. There, because he is in the south, he is called 'nigger' and is forced to work hard labor.At the end of the movie we see him in a jail cell bed curled up and crying whilst remembering his mother hugging him.
