Tim, the computer system used by the Tomorrow People in both the original British 1970s series and the American remake starting in 2013, is an artificial intelligence level machine. In the original series, Tim is built by John, the male leader of the Tomorrow People, from psrts supplied by the Galactic Federation and has the same voice as the Galactic Federation's Ambassador to Earth (both played by Philip Gilbert). In this series, Tim has the ability to help the Tomorrow People amplify their powers. In the new series, Tim is purely a creation of the Tomorrow People using technology acquired from their enemies at Ultra, and from information offered by Stephen's uncle, a section head of Ultra, is no longer the technolocal leading edge in this field. This Tim does not appear to have any ability to amplify the Tomorrow People's powers, being 'merely' an information analysis device.
