The Scarecrow is one of three characters that accompany Dorothy Gale on her trip to see the mysterious Wizard of Oz in the City of Emeralds.Only a few days old, the Scarecrow is like a child, intensely curious and creative, able to learn readily from what he sees and hears, and though he is very naive he recognizes that he has very little personal experience and thus very limited knowledge. Unfortunately he confuses this with stupidity and believes that his straw-filled head is to blame.The Scarecrow hopes that the Wizard will give him a brain. Show less «
