The Doof Warrior (Coma Doof) is the blind musician who rides on the front of the Doof Wagon. He plays a double-necked electric guitar with a built-in flamethrower in front of a wall of speakers. He wears a bungie harness to keep him from falling off and a deflecting face mask in case he accidentally gets splashed by the burning fuel from his own flamethrower.His nickname comes from the DOOF sound made by the stack of amplifiers behind him.The Doof Wagon sets the pace of the Citadel's forces when on the move. It has taiko drummers in the back playing a rhythm to set the speed of the column. The Doof Warrior in the front plays guitar riffs to work the troops into a frenzy and maintain morale.A talented musician, Coma was found as a child by Immortan Joe's forces following a horrific raid during which Coma's mother was taken from him and her head deposited in his lap. Joe discovered the child clutching the decapitated head. Coma's mother's face is what actually constitutes the mask, although whether Coma himself did this or the Immortan himself is unclear.
