Arguably the most memorable character from the 1976 film, the ominous chauffeur appears only in a handful of brief scenes and never utters a sound. He exists only in the mind of protagonist Ben Rolf; first as a disturbing figure from childhood memories of Ben's mother's funeral, then more increasingly as a specter of impending doom.
