A German gunner in the machine gun position near the entrance of Ramelle. He was the only one who survived in the fight against Capt. Miller's squad and he was also the one that shot their medic, Pvt. Wade. He pleaded in mercy to Upham and the others not to kill him and says other rants like 'Steamboat Willie' and the American Anthem in a very wrong manner. He was let go through the influence of Upham to Miller and was blindfolded to have a chance to be taken by other Americans as a POW. In Ramelle, he was seen in the assault of the Germans and killed many of the squad except Upham that was terrified when 'Willie' killed two of the squad in a machine gun position. He was then killed when Upham had enough courage to fight when reinforcements arrive. Show less «
