Sidney J. Munsinger lives a mostly content life as a writer living in Manhattan with his loving wife Kay and a small array of friends, even if his life is partially controlled by his anxiety and paranoia. He never did get around to writing the next great novel as he once hoped, but he always managed to find work as a TV or commercial writer. His life is turned upside down when the anarchic Lennie crashes his home and settles in for a long stay. Suddenly, Sidneys previously uninteresting life takes a radical, even dangerous turn, as Feds hunt for his reluctant houseguest and Lennies influence rubs off on his wife and friends.
