Hiko Seijr is Kenshin's swordsmanship instructor, and passed down his signature style to Kenshin, the Hiten Mitsurugi-ry. His imposing looks, unbelievable fighting prowess and ego are parts of his character. During the series, Kenshin begs for him to teach the ogi of his fighting style. Hiko accepts when learning that he had a spent a decade working for the weak and atone for his sins. In Japanese he is voiced by Shichi Ikeda. Richard Epcar voices him in the English dub. Lex Lang voices him the Sony dub whereas Joe York voices him in Trust & Betrayal. In Reflection he is voiced by James Brownlee. In New Kyoto Arc, he is voiced by Andrew Love.
