This guy only gets about one scene, but Billy Bob Thornton aptly sums him up as Pretty much the smartest man in the world. He also trashes the President's science advisor as a guy who got a C in astrophysics which suggests not only that he gets astrophysics - putting him in a small minority of those who do - but also indicating that he is willing to tell the truth to power.Oh, and it is his idea that actually makes the movie go forward and - not coincidentally - saves the planet.Not bad for a couple of lines!
