Rattrap is a Transformer soldier in the heroic Maximal army. He is generally a vermin-like bot with a hacking ability.1996 and 1999 cartoons (Beast Wars/Machines) - Rattrap was a member of the heroic Maximals. Upon arriving on Earth, he took the alternate mode of a rat. Despite being the smallest Maximal, he possesses expertise in stealth and espionage. He possessed a pessimistic and distrustful personality, trying to avoid any battle whenever he could and generally clashing with partner and ex-Predacon Dinobot. His catchphrase for every situation was Were gonna die. Which ironically never happened to him.Later on, he flew back to Cybertron, where he got a new mode: a rat with wheels. To his dismay, he discovered his short-wheeled robot mode had no weapons, but he soon learned he could access the computers of Cybertron and gain secret information, making him extremely vital to the team as their hacker. Rattrap eventually fell in love with fellow Maximal Botanica.2007 cartoon (Animated) - Rattrap (credited as Rattletrap) was a resident of Cybertron, who could scrounge up anything for a price.
