Peter is a man who was saved by Simon in his masked uniform from a robber who attempted to take his marijuana at gunpoint. He sees Simon without his mask before Simon runs off. Peter is sent to a support group at the community center and recognizes Simon from the encounter, and obsesses over him being superhero. He an Simon start hanging out exclusively, much to Alisha's dismay. When Alisha finds Simon showing Pete the secret flat, she fusses at Simon about telling too much to someone he barely knows. Peter overhears; the next day, Simon breaks up with Alisha unexpectedly. Alisha runs into Peter at the community center and accuses him of making Simon break up with her. He doesn't deny it and Alisha discovers that Peter has the ability to draw comics and make them actually happen. She tells the rest of the ASBO Five and they try to get Peter to stop, but he keeps saying It has to be this way. Peter draws comic panels that makes the Masked Simon to beat up the others; they vow to beat him up in retaliation the next time they see him, but only Alisha knows that the masked man is Simon and tells them to leave it alone.They break into Peter's flat and find the comic panels, and rip them up. This frees Simon from the spell and Simon asks Alisha to get back together after she explains what Peter did. Peter returns to his flat and discovers the ripped-up panels, and realizes that Simon is free of his spell.Simon confronts Peter about what he did and Peter explains that he did it as a favor to both Simon and Alisha, because she was preventing him from being the superhero he should be. Simon tells Peter that he once thought he had to become a superhero to protect Alisha, but realized that was no longer necessary and that he will never leave Alisha. Peter retaliates by donning a superhero suit similar to Simon's and kidnapping Alisha. He tells Simon to come to a warehouse and he does, where he finds Alisha tied to a chair. Simon and Peter fight and Peter falls a few floors. He dies of his injuries after telling Simon that Simon ended up having Alisha after all, and that a superhero has to be prepared to die for what he believes in. After his death, we see the comic panels where he drew the kidnapping of Alisha and the final fight with Simon, as well as Alisha's request that Simon burn his superhero suit with Peter's body ; the final panel, however, shows Simon telling Alisha that he did it but instead hiding the suit in a closet.
