Nina was promoting Bobby Dagen's inspirational novel Surviving the Traps and was aware, like his lawyer Suzanne and friend Cale, of his fabrication of actually being tested by Jigsaw and his intentions to reach stardom and money. Nina hid the truth and helped put out the false hope of help to the actual trap survivors not in actual intention of helping them but gaining money herself.Nina was then selected by John Kramer to be the first test of Bobby's actual tests which play out the means and route of all evil. Bobby was to be the representation of the Route of All Evil: Money which was his intentions of fabricating being in an actual test. Nina was to represent Speak No Evil as she was the final editor of Bobby's novel luring out the survivors to them in return for money by creating false events though aware of the real ones. She was photographed by John during his last year of life in 2005 and selected for the pre-meditated built trap: The Impalement Seats. Mark Hoffman, under the guise of Pighead, abducted Nina and brought her to warehouse to be placed in the trap.
