As his only known relative, a daughter is estranged from Leo and can't be contacted, the court appoints Mike Flaherty, a struggling attorney, as his guardian. But Mike is motivated by money, and tricks Leo into leaving his home and moving into an aged care facility, while Mike is being paid to care for him.Leo's grandson, who he didn't know existed, arrives from Columbus and wishes to move in with his grandfather.
