Kris Paronto known as Tanto in security contracting circles is a former Army Ranger from 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment B/CO, 5th Battlalion 19th Special Forces Group, C/CO and private security contractor who worked with various contracting firms to include Blackwater Security Consulting, Osen Hunter Group, Nexus Security Consulting and SOC-USA (fomerly SOC-SMG). He has carried out multiple deployments throughout South America, Central America, the Middle East and North Africa. He also worked with the US Governments Global Response Staff conducting low profile security in high threat environment throughout the world. Tanto Spent over 9 years deploying prior to the attack on the 09/11/2012 with the United States State Department and Central Intelligence Agency. He then redeployed near the Horn of Africa after the Benghazi Attack in 2013.Kris Tanto Paronto attended Ranger School the Winter of 2000 and became a Commissioned Officer in 2001 after serving as an enlisted team leader for 2nd Battaltion 75th Ranger Regiment.Mr. Paronto holds a Bachelors Degree from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado and a Masters Degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.Tanto was part of the CIA annex security team that responded to the terrorist attack on the US Special Mission in Benghazi, Libya on September 11th, 2012, which killed Ambassador Christoper Stevens, Sean Smith, and Former Navy Seals Tyrone Rone Woods and Glen Bub' Doherty.
