Kemal Pamuk, a diplomat and the son of a Turkish government minister, visited Downton Abbey and went on a fox hunt with the family and other guests. He and Mary were attracted to each other and he visited Mary in her bedroom that night. He died of a heart attack while there and Mary had to get help to drag him from her bed back to his guest bedroom. One of the maids saw this but kept it to herself. He was discovered the next morning by his valet. This indiscretion was troubling for Mary for some seasons hence. Show less «
