He has a somewhat skewed and unhealthy obsession with weapons, mainly handguns and bombs. He is an avid smoker. He is highly intelligent, and manipulative. He displays classic signs of sociopathic tendencies and commits various staged homicides with little to no remorse.His father owns the LLC Big Bud Dean Construction , which specializes in demolitions, sometimes by questionable and exaggerated means. His grandfather supposedly served during WWII. His mother allegedly committed suicide by entering a building that was set for demolition; J.D. witnessed the event.J.D. Drives a motorcycle and claims to be in love with Veronica. However, when things get out of hand, Veronica takes a stand, and J.D. eventually commits suicide by blowing himself up.
