According to the movie 1776 James Wilson did not want to stand out or particularly to be remembered. Ironically, he is none-the-less in the history books. After signing the Declaration of Independence, he was later part of the group of men wrote the U.S. Constitution. Then, George Washington appointed him to the Supreme Court as an Associate Justice.
