James Diamond (James Maslow)James Diamond (James Maslow) is a member of the popular boy band Big Time Rush. He is best friends with Kendall, Carlos and Logan, the other members of the band. They all live in the Palm Woods Hotel where they are surrounded by other aspiring actors and singers. The hotel is the site of many shenanigans. Originally from Minnesota, James is the only member of the group who actually wanted to be a pop star. He convinced his friends to go with him to an audition in front of manager Gustavo Rouque. When Gustavo cruelly told James, he had no talent, Kendall jumped to his defense. Eventually, Kendall convinces Gustavo to let James, Carlos and Logan come with him to Los Angeles. He clashes the most with Logan and is very protective of Kendalls younger sister Katie. James is an egocentric, handsome teenager who carries a mirror around with him. He especially likes to admire his beautiful hair. Though he is full of himself, he is a nice guy who can be a bit clueless. He is very trusting and loyal, especially to his friends. He continues to dream big and is brimming the confidence. He is ready to be a big time star.
