Jenkins plays a character that is the presumed father of a 12 year old girl named Abby.His and Abby's origins are unknown but they do travel and move extensively. They move to Los Alamos, NM in the winter of what appears to be some time in the early 80's. Jenkins doesn't appear to have an occupation and comes and goes mysteriously. It turns out that his daughter , Abby, is actually a vampire. He provides the blood for her by going out and selecting a victim then incapacitating them with a chloroform type substance.Once they are unconscious, he takes them to a wooded area where he hangs them upside down and drains their blood into a jug. He takes the jug home to feed Abby. One murder attempt goes awry and Jenkins ends up in a car wreck. He pours acid over his face to disfigure himself, apparently in an attempt to prevent the authorities from tracking him back to his home and Abby.He's placed in a hospital with serious injuries and burns. Abby visits the hospital and learns he is in a room on the 10th floor. She climbs up the outside of the hospital and knocks on the window. When he opens the window, he leans over so that she can bite him on the neck. She does bite him and kills him as opposed to turning him into a vampire.You see later in the movie that there are pictures of him, much younger, with Abby. They both appear to be about 12 years old (Abby's current age ). Apparently he was her boyfriend before she was turned into a vampire. He spent the rest of his life murdering to feed her along with hiding and protecting her. Show less «
