Gil (Owen Wilson) is first introduced to Gabrielle at her outdoor market, where the two discuss their love of Cole Porter. The two are reunited again at the end of the film on a bridge following Gil's breakup with his fiance. While the two converse, it begins to rain at which point, upon close inspection, it becomes clear that Gabrielle's clothing remains dry for the entirety of the scene, while Gil's clothing becomes noticeably wet.
