Emmet (Michael Welch) is friends with the popular outcast Mandy Lane (Amber Heard), however Emmet himself is in no way popular and is bullied. Mandy is asked to a pool party, and she accepts under the condition Emmet also comes. While at the party Emmet sits on the roof of a house and tells Dylan (Adam Powell) to jump from the roof to the pool to impress Mandy. However Dylan misses, hits his head off the concrete and dies. Nine moths later it is seen Mandy and Emmet have drifted. Mandy has become friends with the popular group, while Emmet remains a loner. When Mandy is at a ranch with the popular group, members of the group fall victim to a mysterious killer who is later revealed to be Emmet. However it is later seen that Mandy is also helping Emmet kill the group, intending to commit suicide once everyone is dead. At the last minute Mandy changes her mind and decides she does not want to die, enraging the now deranged Emmet who is in love with her. Emmet chases Mandy and they end up fighting. Mandy eventually manages to kill Emmet, meaning Mandy has got away with the killings while Emmet has died. Show less «
