Mother to Matthew and Susan, and mother-in-law to Jennifer. She moves to Tokyo with her son and his wife, but the minute she steps into the Saeki house, she becomes catatonic and passive, sensing the presence in the house immediately. She is then cared for by Yoko, and later, Karen. On Karen's first day caring for Emma, she hears Emma whispering, and approaches her. Emma then whispers to her that I just want her to leave me alone. Emma then gasps, and Karen sees a shadow floating above her, forming a face, and menacing eyes are revealed that takes Karen aback. She then watches as it kills Emma. Show less «
