Little of an official biography is given in the series. Lori (no last name given, though implied by fans to be Hall after Deidre Hall who portrays her) and her partner Judy work for Newsmakers magazine and are evidentially quite successful as many of their articles about the adventures of Electrawoman and Dynagirl make it on the cover of the magazine. Both Lori and Judy live together in a spacious suburban home. Secretly, Lori is also Electrawoman. In the 2001 remake, it is implied, though never stated as fact, that the original Judy runs off with Lori's husband sometime between the two series. Lori falls into an alcoholic depression and out of the public spotlight, only to be tracked down years later by Judy, no relation to the prior one, a high school student saved by Electrawoman as a child from a ferris wheel accident. The new Judy attempts to bring Lori/Electrawoman back into the public.
