Ed, or Big Ed, is the least intelligent of the Eds. He is tall, around 5'9, and incredibly strong. He almsot always wears a green jacket, striped shirt, and baggy pants. He has no concept of personal hygene, much to the consternation of Double D. He seems to have an aversion to soap and deoderant, and his underware is always a dingy grey. He also has horrible posture, often walking bent backwards. His person and his room are full of unidentifiable filth, particularly under his bed. He is a fan of low budget Sci-fi and horror movies and the walls of his room have a number of posters, such as the Space Clam , Liver and Onions , and It Came from France. He also likes comics, and can get caught up in them, once convincing the others to try and re-enact The Curse of Evil Tim. His overactive imagination causes him to comparesituations to his movies and comics, once even going so far as to believe himself to be a real monster. He also has an unnantural fetish for chickens. He has a habit of sleepwalking and sleepeating, once emptying the refrigerators of the entire neighborhood. His speech is lacking as well, often speaking in non-sequitaurs, and statements that have nothing to do with the situation, and occasionally breaking the Fourth Wall. Buttered toast and gravy are not only his favorite foods, but are also frequent exclamations. He also likes pudding skin. He occasionally works on Rolf's farm, giving him more exposure to his beloved chickens. He is generally good natured, laughing in situations that would cause others pain and embarassment. On the rare occasions that he looses his temper, he causes great damage. He is highly allergic to certain substances: rabbits cause his to swell up to balloon-like proportions, eels cause him to resemble a fish, and butterscotch causes him to break out. He lives in fear of his younger sister Sarah, calling her names such as Child of the Netherworld , and Rotten to the Core Cherished One. Nonetheless he very protective of her, refering to her as baby sister which she doesn't usually appriciate. His best known feature is a prominant uni-brow. For this reason, Eddy often calls him Monobrow or variations on the term. Another common name is Lumpy. Other names such as Burrhead,(because of his buzzcut) Flathead or Funnelhead Double D sometimes calls him Loveable Oaf . He occasionally exhibits unsuspected talents. He can perfectly forge the handwriting of Double D's parents. While he cannot play the violin, he can play the flute so well, it has the effect of a Pied Piper on Rolf's animals. He even shows flashes of intelligence, once remarking on the confusing nature of women. An attempt was made to remake his image in to one cooler and cleaner.. Although it started out promising, it was thawarted by the Kanker sisters. He is the target of affection for May Kanker. Show less «
