Home alone, Drew is the first to be phoned by the killer. Her character is a parody of the actress Drew Barrymore's character 'Casey' in the film 'Scream' (1996).When asked by the killer what a certain noise was, Drew answers honestly that she just passed gas, which implies she has a certain bluntness. She lists her favourite scary movie as 'Kazaam' (1996) due to Shaq's poor acting. This may suggest she enjoys comedy. When the killer states that he wants to see what her insides look like, Drew tells him to turn to page 54 of a pornographic magazine - thus we know she is involved in modelling of sorts and is likely to be very confident about her appearance. She then becomes increasingly fearful, telling the killer that her Black boyfriend will soon be there to kick his ass. In response, the perpetrator reveals knowing Drew's boyfriend's preference for wearing make-up and dressing like a woman . This may mean that Drew is less shallow than she can appear at other times, as not all women are accepting of their male partners dressing this way. When asked how he knows, the killer tells Drew to turn the porch lights on. She does this, revealing an alarmed man who she says isn't her boyfriend (but she admits to having sex with him a couple of times ).When told she forgot to lock the back door, she runs through the house to do this. She then picks up a baseball bat and inches towards another door after its doorbell rings. Upon opening the door, she begins using the bat to hit who is at the door. Instead of the killer, this turns out to be a bunch of Trick-or-Treaters. Apologising and retreating back inside, she sees the real killer standing across the room.Despite having a number of weapons to choose from, including a grenade and a gun, she picks a banana up off a table and runs through the house with it. This reflects the humour and genre of the film. Heading outdoors, Drew comes across two signs; one saying SAFETY and with an arrow pointing one way, the other saying DEATH and with an arrow pointing in the opposite direction. She pauses for a moment, thinking, and then chooses to run in the direction the DEATH sign is pointing to.She falls dramatically, leaving a body outline on the grass. She then hides behind a tree before the killer lets her know he's behind her. Once the chase begins again, the killer grabs at Drew, but only rips off her clothing (leaving her in her underwear). She continues running this way and comes across sprinklers. The scene changes to slow motion as Drew's body is soaked by the water, and she even stops to pose before looking back and seeing the killer closing in on her.Drew's actions may be reflective of the film writers' view on the portrayal of women in Horrors and Thrillers.Screaming, she resumes running, but is caught by the killer and stabbed in the chest. However, this does not kill her, as the knife pulls out one of her breast implants (thus we know she has had breast surgery). She falls to the ground in pain as the killer looks in puzzlement at the implant speared by his knife.Clutching her bleeding chest, Drew spots her father driving towards her and calls for her daddy . She runs towards the car, still calling for her father, but he fails to spot her and hits Drew with his car. She flies up into the air, involuntarily somersaults, and falls to the ground. Still alive, she looks up in fear as the killer crouches over her, kneels, and forces the knife down to finish her off.Later in the film, the main character Cindy Campbell states that Drew was killed exactly one year after Cindy and her friends (Buffy, Greg, Brenda, Ray, and boyfriend Bobby) committed manslaughter (and covered it up).
