Dr. Sean McNamara is a 40-ish plastic surgeon who runs a successful practice (with fellow plastic surgeon Christian Troy) out of Miami, FL. Sean and Christian went to medical school together and have been best friends for nearly two decades. Sean is married to his college sweetheart Julia and has three children: Matt, Annie and Connor. Eventually, Sean discovers that Julia and Christian had an affair while they were all in college. Sean also learns that he is not Matt's biological father but in fact Christian is. This results in a brutal fistfight taking place between Sean and Christian at their medical practice. Their friendship and business relationship is jeopardized because of this situation. As time slowly progresses, Sean learns how to forgive Christian and try to move on. But rest assured, more problems between the two characters come about as further seasons progress.
