Donna Keppel is a beautiful young lady who had to witness the killing of her mother after finding her dead brother, while her father was also dead. Her family was killed by a psycho teacher that was trying to find her after they took out a restraining order against him. 3yrs later Donna is finding herself awakening from nightmares recapping the horrific night. Donna was seeing a therapist and forced to take anti-depressants to keep her intact. Her family's murderer was sentenced but was insane so he was still alive, he escaped a few days before her prom and was set to find her and kill whoever gets in his way. She finally is able to stop taking the pills and enjoys her prom night with he boyfriend Bobby. She isn't aware that her parents murderer escaped and wanted to get to her. The detective that put him away finds out that he escaped and tries to monitor the hotel while Donna and friends enjoy their prom night. Soon Donna realizes that he is out and this time it isn't a nightmare as she returns to the suite and finds her friend Claire dead and discovers him there as well. When Donna's big night (prom) turns into another killing spree she has to fight to survive and face the fact that her most dearest friends are being killed by the past stalker trying to get to her.
