Jedi works as a seemingly harmless receptionist at the beautiful, but dangerous hostel. With his wool vest, glasses, lisp and calm, friendly demeanor, viewers were unsure whether he was in on the awful secret held by the residents of Poricany, a town near Bratislava. In part two, we see that he is actually the one responsible for letting clients know about new product by scanning passports of potential victims onto an online bidding site. At the Harvest Festival, we see a slightly disturbing sign of his sociopathic indifference when he creeps one of the potential victims out by politely interrogating her about what another man might have told her. He won't bother you again. Although a relatively small role, Desk Clerk Jedi is one of the best characters in the movie and I would like to see more of him should there be a third installment in the Hostel series.
