Or likewise? She is beautful, deep, sensitive... and a bit of a wild girl. Daisy is a flower... but this one has thorns. But they pierce her most of all.Bud is a sad, needy, self-absorbed man. A man who is the very epitome of the loner on a motorcycle searching for himself and for happiness along the never-ending road. Although he is naturally beautiful, deep and even hard-boiled in many ways, he needs love. He meets a lot of women on the road and helps them somewhat. They're not what he's looking for. Badly. Someone. Someone who is much like him. He is in dire need of the other half.So along Bud's odyssey from New Hampshire to California, he arrives in Los Angeles and seems to have come to the end of his journey. His destination is not LA, but his long-lost ex-girlfriend, Daisy.Daisy is something of a party girl. Like him, she smokes, but she does almost every other drug. She also has causal experimental sex with many, many other men. When Bud makes it back to town, she and him are re-united briefly and it seems as if all they were missing in their lives was each other. That is the nature of their sadness.Daisy relieves our hero of his pain in a way only she can. After a night of mending bridges and hearts, Bud is in tears when he sees his beautiful flower pleasing several other men, at once. And it's not a recent thing for her.He is in tears after seeing this and the way she destroys herself also with narcotics, but this tears are as deep as an ocean not merely because he feels that he is not special to her, but they will never be together now because... she is gone...(by Dane Youssef) Show less «
