Though he has doubts, Korso eventually learns to trust in Tucker and his ideas, and the two become friends. After the Earth is destroyed and Tucker escapes with the Titan, Korso goes looking for both the ship and his old friend. Eventually he finds out that Tucker has been found and killed by the Drej, though the Titan is still hidden. Teamed up with his partner, Preed, and the crew they hire, they find Cale and begin searching for the Titan.Korso, however, has ulterior motives. He has struck a deal with the Drej to deliver them the Titan, in return for a large reward. Cale and Akima discover Korso's betrayal and escape, but not before Korso finds out the Titan's location. He catches up to Cale on the Titan, only to be betrayed in turn by his alien partner, Preed. Korso kills Preed, but in the scuffle over the ring that follows, Cale knocks him over a ledge. Korso catches a wire on the way down and saves himself. Climbing back up, he hears Cale's plan to beat the Drej and restore power to the ship. Trusting in Cale's plan, Korso emerges to help Cale succeed, at the cost of his life.Personality:The tough guy, he's very similar to Cale in terms of his attitudes and philosophies. Though he used to believe in Tucker, he is discouraged by the power of the Drej, and takes to the grabbing what you can philosophy. With the man behind the ideas long gone, Korso gives up his hope in a future for humanity and turns to self-interest. He wins Cale over to keep him with the plan, but is ultimately changed by the change that occurs in Cale. In the end he redeems himself by helping restore the dream he nearly destroyed for good.
