Buzzy Crocker was once a respected journalist who wrote for the Los Angeles Banner. Unfortunately, he recieved a bad tip about the mayor's dealings with the mob. His story was discredited, and he was fired from the paper. He was unable to find work at any other respectable newspaper, so he began to write for tabloids. After years of making up stories about ghosts and other supernatural occurances, he recieved a tip for a story from an elderly lady named Abigail Gregory. He was told the truth behind the mysterious disappearances at the Hollywood Tower Hotel on Halloween Night, 1939. With the help of his niece, he decided to investigate the dilapidated hotel. Once he discovered that the hotel was still haunted by the people on the elevator, he promised he would help them with the help of the magic spell book he found in the hotel basement. It wasn't long after he made this promise that, Jill, the editor of the Los Angeles Banner found that he didn't tell her something about Abigail Gregory - she was the sister of one of the occupants of the elevator that disappeared, movie star Sally Shine. He was welcomed back to the Banner on the spot. but he was unable to write the story due to nagging doubts about Abigail's story. Once he put together the pieces in his head, he rushed back to the hotel. After trying to convince Abilgail to reverse the spell, saving Anna from the main elevator, and helping solve the mystery of the hotel, Buzzy once again became a respected journalist on the Banner, breaking the story of the reopening of the HTH.
