Ben Stone is the main character in director Judd Apatow's hit comedy Knocked Up. When the film begins, Ben is a 24-year-old slacker who shares a house in Los Angeles with friends Jay, Jason, Jonah, and Martin. Together, the five of them were working to develop a pornography web site that would specialize in nude scenes of famous actresses. Eventually, they discovered that such a site already exists and it is called Mr. Skin. Ben and his friends behave very immaturely, vulgarly, and seem to fear growing up.One evening while at a nightclub with his friends, Ben met Allison Scott, an attractive E! Entertainment worker. Throughout the course of the evening, Ben and Allison became inebriated and went home and had unprotected sex with each other. The next morning, they awkwardly realized that they have little in common. Eight weeks later, Allison discovered that she was pregnant and contacted Ben. Ben and Allison decided to keep the baby and to raise it together. Ben and Allison had a huge fight and Allison told Ben off for not preparing properly to raise their child. Allison decided that she wanted nothing to do with Ben. Ben then began to try to make himself more responsible by getting a job at Jetset Studios, moving out of the house that he shared with his friends, and buying a new apartment with a baby room. When Allison goes into labor, she calls Ben and he helps to get her to the hospital. They reconciled and lived happily with their new daughter. Show less «
