Applejack, also called AJ for short, is an earth pony from Ponyville. Applejack, Apple Bloom, Granny Smith, and Big McIntosh are all part of the Apple Family and help run Sweet Apple Acres. She is a farm girl that is both strong and won't complain about getting her hooves dirty, you could call her a cow girl. She is a friend of Twilight Sparkles, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy. Applejack also hold one of the six Elements of Harmony, Honesty. She proves this with the second part of Elements of Harmony when she tells Twilight Sparkles that she will be o.k. Even though Applejack isn't the team leader of the story, she takes charge when needed.
