Young brit Anna is a passionate young woman and an aspiring writer (with the soul of a poet) who's finishing her studies abroad in Los Angeles, who has an eye and a detailed love letter for her classmate Jacob. As they seem to forge a burgeoning and intense romantic connection over the summer, she decides to overstay her visa and spend the summer in LA to be near the one she loves. However, when she tries to return the US, she is barred from entering the country because of her visa violation. She tries very hard to make it work and bring Jacob closer, but he seems to have his foot in the ground in LA and it just becomes more complicated to live her life comfortably back in England with all the uncertainty hanging over her head. It's also questionable if her own romantic feelings are being fully reciprocated by Jacob. Show less «
