Rich, beautiful Allie falls in love with Noah ~ a kid from the wrong side of the tracks. (Ryan Gosling). When she sees Noah in the newspaper, she knows she has to see him again and drives back to where they first met. Unfortunately, as Allie grows older she suffers from degenarative memory loss, and has no idea who her family is. Undeterred, Noah is determined to try and remind her, so often sits by her bedside and tells her the story of two young lovers ~ their own story.
