One of the original two dancers to join with Gackt upon his leaving Malice Mizer in 1999, Yosh has over the years earned the honored position of lead dancer and precious member of the Gackt family. A dancer who has mastered a wide variety of styles and skills, Yosh has assumed the position of being the man responsible for bringing new dance members into the fold and training them. Appearing in every concert and every tour alongside Gackt since 2000, he has become as noticeable and respected a part of the band as any of the musicians. Most of the complex routines seen in Gackt's live tours were choreographed by him, and he acts as Gackt's personal dance trainer and instructor. Known for his obsessive attitude towards achieving perfection, Yosh is nevertheless a beloved father figure to the other dancers who have worked with him in the hundreds of live shows he has performed. Never satisfied with simply doing the same thing over again, he has constantly pushed the envelope and expanded the routines, having thus far included frolicking cats, traditional Japanese dance elements, martial arts sequences, and break dancing technique. Many of these difficult performances take months to perfect, and through that lengthy process Yosh works and learns with the dance team, getting them to be at their best while he himself further refines his own abilities.
