Yani Simone is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago where she majored in acting. Yani Simone will make her feature film debut in "Life of the Party," a film that stars Academy Award nominated actress Melissa McCarthy. The film is due in theaters early 2018.Yani will be appearing in BET's "Being Mary Jane" and The Quad's upcoming seasons in 2017. Yani has been featured in the upcoming biopic, "All Eyez on Me," on the life of legendary Hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur and has also appeared on the nationally syndicated Steve Harvey show located in Chicago Illinois.As a voice-over talent, Yani sang a jingle for the Georgia Lottery and was featured in a commercial for Publix supermarket, a national supermarket chain.Yani has trained at The Actor's Studio and The Company Acting Studio, both located in Atlanta, GA, as well as The Annoyance Theater (Improv) and Chicago's Actor's Studio.Also a recording artist, Yani's single and music video entitled "Ima Do Me" is scheduled to be released towards the end of 2016.
