Adopted via the San Diego foster care system at the age of two, Yanellie and her family relocated to Los Angeles in 2009, so she could pursue her dream of acting. As a foster child she has overcome many obstacles, and has proven if you want something badly enough and dedicate yourself to it, dreams can be achieved.Yanellie's first print job was for Toys R Us when she was three years old. Soon thereafter she was bitten by the acting bug, and made her film debut at age four in an SDSU short titled "Mediocre Masterpiece".Yanellie's heritage is Mexican and Native American (Sioux), but she is more often cast as Arabic, Persian, or Indian.She takes easily to memorizing lines in various dialects and foreign languages including Arabic, Dari, Farsi, and Spanish. Her favorite accents are British, Southern, and Indian.In her spare time Yanellie enjoys playing her guitar, singing and dancing, drawing and sketching, as well as playing with her dog Penny, and hanging out with her friends.
