Woody McClain, a.k.a. Woody The Great, was born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up in Jacksonville and attending popular HBCU Florida A&M University (FAMU), Woody realized his natural talent in sports, music and dancing.In 2012, Woody took a leap of faith to pursue his dreams in the entertainment industry by packing his belonging and moving to Los Angeles. Woody has since then performed with numerous a-list artists while still maintaining his own passion to create and become a world renowned entertainer. Shortly after arriving in LA, Woody honed in on his skills by creating and producing original social media content. After gaining national recognition and support of his original content, Woody built a social media fan base surpassing over 1 million followers.In 2015, Woody expanded his resume and signed on to Kevin Hart's production company, 'HartBeat Digital' and landed his first major TV role on BET's 2017 mini-series playing lead as Bobby Brown in the 'New Edition Story'.
