Born in Detroit 6-3-55 the 7th born of 12 children to Harvey & Audrae Thibodeau. Nicknamed "Willem" by Actor Jack Wagner after an allergic reaction to Shell Fish that kept William in and out of hospitals for two years giving him the uncanny striking resemblance to Actor Willem Dafoe. William was deeply inspired by his mother Audrae a community theater actor & singer. William was also influenced by Producer Jerry Weintraub of Oceans Eleven Fame as well as Directors Sydney Pollack, Clint Eastwood and Michael Feifer. Other influential friends include Actors Michael Woods, Joe Pesci, Costas Mandylor and Tim Dekay.Due to personal tragedies that surrounded Willem's life, he left California in June of 1994 only to return in 2011 to continue his dreams. William completed his first screenplay "Razzle Dazzle Me" scheduled to be produced in 2016. This all became possible after a chance meeting with Broadway legend Kenny Prescott who along with 2 time Cannes award winning writer Graham Rushton offered Willem the opportunity to complete their incomplete script previously titled screenplay "But Not Goodby.In May of 2014 William would team up with Ken Prescott once again to write "A Dickens of a Christmas" slated to be filmed in 2015-16 Directed by Gordon Yang.In March of 2015, William secured the life story of Frankie "Blue Eyes" Sparaco, A Hitman for the Columbo Family. Sparaco while serving 18 years of a much longer prison sentence for murder and other crimes,wrote 140 detailed short stories of his crimes, murders and good deeds that are unlike any Mofia Crime Stories that Thibodeau has ever read.
