William Glover began his professional career in his native England. He began acting on stage in 1945, but emigrated to North America to work for two seasons with the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, Canada. Glover moved to the American state of California in 1965 to appear in the Center Theatre Group's productions of "The Devils", "Poor Bitos", "Yeats and Company", performing as the poet and in the national tour of "The Deputy", portraying Pius XII. His only feature film credits have been The Big Fix (1978) and To Be or Not to Be (1983), with Christopher Lloyd and Paddi Edwards. He voiced Winston the butler in Disney's Oliver & Company (1988). He co-starred with Rene Auberjonois, Jennifer Hetrick, Tony Jay, Richard Kiley, and Alan Oppenheimer in Absolute Strangers (1991). Show less «
