Wendy Michaels had her first acting experience on the stage when she was in 4th grade in the role of "A Tree". She studied Drama at the University of Miami and earned a BA in Theatre and then a few years later drove to Los Angeles (without a map-just followed I-10 from the east coast) to begin her career. Shortly after arriving, she landed a role as a patient in the movie SAFE and during one scene found herself sitting near a rising young star named Julianne Moore. Wendy is a former student of Charles Nelson Reilly and Silvana Gallardo. Other film roles include the Slamdance audience favorite, Phantom Pain (as quoted by Tina Alexis Allen), the quirky role of Sue Hoover in Bachelor Party 2, the housewife who gives Jim Carrey a very unexpected reaction in I Love You Phillip Morris and was delighted to work alongside Haley Webb as her mom in the film, Single in South Beach. Her TV roles include The Glades where she guided Matt Passmore towards key evidence in the episode "Old Ghosts", and in May 2012 portrayed a lesbian criminal in America's Most Wanted episode "The Eddy Connor Story" on the Lifetime channel. In December 2012 she will produce the first staged reading of her full length play.
