Wayne Mitchell is an actor/writer/director and Northern California native. From an early age he has sought out opportunities to learn the craft of acting and writing. A founding member of Teens Teaching Through Theater from age 13-18, Wayne learned to collaborate with other actors to write and produce original material that spoke to kids in their sometimes difficult teenage years. After high school, he attended Santa Rosa Junior College where he competed for the Speech Team (Forensics) before transferring and graduating from SFSU with a BA in Speech Communications, & a BA in Cinema. (His SFSU 16mm short 'Pure Kill' is available on Vimeo) Shortly after graduating, Wayne moved to Los Angeles and studied at Playhouse West from 2002-'08. He has appeared on various TV shows including 'Angel', 'Crossing Jordan', 'Boston Legal', & 'Vegas'. Since 2009, he has worked with IMN Creative, voicing television and movies including 'Community', 'Animal Hospital', 'Playing House', 'Satisfaction', 'The Houses October Built' & 'The Fourth Kind'. In July of '16, his writing/directing feature film debut 'Soledad' will be released on iTunes, Amazon, and various other digital platforms.
