Born in Belarus, raised in Los Angeles, California. Started Tang Soo Do at the age of 6. Transitioned into Tae Kwon Do at the age of 12. At 15, placed 2nd in the Southern California Tae Kwon Do Junior Olympics (fought in the 16-17 year category in the heavyweight division). During Vlad's competition days, Vlad's father bought a Hi-8 camcorder to film Vlad's competitions. Vlad used the camera as a tool to start filming his own fight scenes, after being influenced by Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and the indie stunt group "Zero Gravity." Vlad began receiving attention and phone calls from stunt coordinators in 2012 after he released his short film "Part 1: Chapter C." September 19, 2014 was Vlad's last day at Apple and he made the transition to Fight Coordinator/Fight Choreographer full time. Show less «
