Virginia was born in Toronto, Ontario and was the youngest of three children. Virginia attended the top school for girls in Toronto, Branksome Hall. She then graduated from the Juilliard School Drama Division and was granted the John Houseman Award for Excellence in the Classics. She spends her time between Los Angeles and New York City.
