Vincent was born in Noumea, New Caledonia and was raised in a strong French culture with a mixed Polynesian, Chinese and European heritage. Vincent is a descent of the First Takumasiva Royal Dynasty. In 1992 Vincent became an Australian citizen and he has lived between Sydney, LA, HK and Singapore ever since. Vincent has been practicing martial arts since the age of five and aspired to be a Body Guard and an Actor. His first ambition became a reality at the age of 21 when he was called to be one of the youngest bodyguards protecting high profile French Government Officials and Celebrities.However, Vincent always remained focused on his ambition to become an Actor and Entrepreneur. In 1992 he traveled to Hong Kong for six weeks, during this time he was discovered by Golden Harvest Film Company, the film company who discovered Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. Whilst in Hong Kong, Vincent secured his first major movie contract working alongside Jackie Chan in "The Legend of a Drunken Master" and "Project S" which also starred Michelle Yeoh. Vincent was cast-ed for the roles by the legendary Hong Kong Director and Martial Arts Master Lau Kar-Leung. Master Lau Kar-Leung was extremely impressed with Vincent's martial arts skills. Jackie Chan was also amazed with Vincent's skills and offered him the opportunity to work with him. Jackie Chan is a funny, talented, friendly, kind and inspirational Actor and Martial Artist. Vincent learned a lot from him.Martial Arts and Religion have always been a way of life for Vincent as it provides him with physical and spiritual well being. The first style of martial arts he practiced was Karate, he then moved on to Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, Kung Fu, Thai-Boxing, Boxing and Viet Do Dao. It is Kung Fu and Tae Kwon Do which have a special place in his heart because of the spectacular kicking techniques. To complete his martial arts skills he has started to practice and master Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Vincent likes all styles of martial arts and puts the most effective and spectacular styles together to create his own unique style. Vincent believes that the core of all Martial Art and spiritual practices is the development of the Self as a whole - on physical, mental and spiritual levels. Martial Arts and spiritual training teaches you how to handle pain, both physical and emotional, and to have patience both with yourself and with others. This is how you discover who you really are so you can be the person you want to be in this world.It is through our greatest struggles in life that we find compassion and strength through perseverance.
