Vanessa Lunnon, an American born actress, grew up in Arvada, Colorado and is the daughter of her African (Mogadishu, Somalia) born mother who is of Somali and Italian decent. Her American father is of German, Irish, English, French and Native American (Black Foot) heritage.Vanessa is a graduate and former company director of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. As classically trained theater actress Vanessa's career has taken her across the U.S. and Europe where she has also has been seen in the pages of magazines as a model. She has been described as an exotic beauty with International appeal. Vanessa was voted Top Five Actress, Best New Talent (L.A.)Vanessa can be seen in fashion magazine Image as the spokesperson of Weldon's Fine Diamond Jewelery in Dublin, Ireland. She can be seen in Jordan Scott's new film Cracks due out in theaters later this year produced by Tony and Ridley Scott. Also, due to complete production is the short film Archangel where Vanessa portrays "Uriel" one of the seven Archangels. This gripping performance portrayed a complicated young woman recently released from Kentucky State prison in search of starting a new life free from her troubled past. She also performed in the World Premiere of the new documentary style comedy American Grind where she originated the role of "Darcy" the reformed pot-smoking, bohemian in search of her place in the world.
