Valentina Muhr is a Chilean actress. She has worked in cinema, television and theater. Her film debut was in Secretos, written by Raul Ruiz and directed by Valeria Sarmiento. She was later directed by Ruiz in the TV series Litoral, and she also starred in his posthumous feature film, La Noche de Enfrente, which was part of the official selection of the Cannes Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, New York Film Festival and Hong Kong International Film Festival.Her most renowned work to date is the film Las Anafalbetas, directed by Moisés Sepulveda, which premiered in Venezia Film Festival and was screened in more than 30 Film Festivals around the world. In the movie ,Valentina co-stars with the Silver Bear winner Paulina García, and for her performance ,Valentina won three Best Actress awards (Gramado International F.F, FECIPA F.F, Pedro Siena) She has developed a collaborative relationship with García since 2006, , working in several theater productions together. She performed in the play Phantasmagoria directed by the Italian comedian Patricia Paolini. She has also collaborated as a performer in works by artist Oscar Murillo, and was a performer in Gala directed by choreographer Jérôme Bel.Valentina is currently based in New York City after living, studying and working in London, Berlin and Paris.
