Working as an assistant to Antonio Barella, Val was introduced to Cine Citta' and the world of acting. Following in the footsteps of his hero Marlon Brando, Val applied - and got accepted to - the Stella Adler Academy of Acting (Los Angeles) on a full scholarship under the guidance of Irene Gilbert. While working on a production of The Seagull with Yegevi Lazarev(Moscow Art Theatre) Val was introduced to Desmond Andrews, who cast him as Tony in the production of 'Savage in Limbo' in New York. Once settled in Brooklyn, Val worked on the TV productions 'Hostage' & 'The Bronx is Burning' with John Turturro and on 'Off-Broadway Los Muertos', which led him to work and study at the Labyrinth theatre. Ready for the next challenge, Val made his way to London to work on the productions of 'Sticks and Stones' & 'The Indian Wants the Bronx'. Since his arrival, Val has been the face of Mandarin Orientals, worked on several theatre productions, short films and has recently finished shooting the feature film 'Kick-Ass'.
