Tyler is a Canadian actor, producer, and writer born in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. He began his training at The Company of Rogues Actors Studio, later studying at Mount Royal University and The Canadian National Voice Intensive. Tyler is best known for his work in live theatre, most notably for his critically acclaimed portrayal of "Ash" in Evil Dead The Musical which had extended runs in Calgary (which garnered him a Betty Award Nomination for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy) and at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver. Tyler's one man show, Iraq and Back, which chronicles Tyler's experience working in Iraq in 2003-04, toured the fringe festival and played to sold out houses for Calgary's Ghost River Theatre Company. Tyler lives in Toronto where he has been seen on stage, on television and in a video game for Ubisoft. He continues his training with David Rotenberg at the Professional Actors' Lab. Tyler, along with Patrick MacEachern and Braden Brickner are the creative force behind the web series Bear and Toy which can be found at bearandtoy.ca. Show less «
